The entrepreneur James Middleton (brother to Catherine*) is well-known for his affection for his Cocker Spaniels. In an interview with Bryony Gordon for The Telegraph Magazine in October 2019 (at Bistro du Vin in Wimbledon), he brought two of his pack along, Ella and Zulu. But they needed smart rolled leather slip leads, didn't they?
We were happy to oblige. It was too late to arrange a courier. Or, rather, it was too early. Because it was still a dark morning, thunder and rain before the dawn broke (see the puddles!). Anyway, a valiant effort on our part (my part, thank you). But there they are! our rolled leather slip leads. Okay, you'll have to look closely - you can see the leads perched on the bench, on the left, next to James's right hand. Zoom in. Zoom in.
Ideal for gun dogs, the rolled leather slip is comfortable to hold and handle - and strong with a literal breaking load into hundreds of kilograms. Plus it will certainly distinguish you and your dog from that West Country farmer who proudly, defiantly, uses twine for a slip lead (you know who I mean).
